I will be landing soon. I am an AEO applicant and I have not found one applicant with a landing experience with an AEO. If someone did landing with an AEO, please help.

I was told by my consultant although I am an AEO applicant I will be asked for POF at the port of entry. Can I show POF if asked for in the form of a bank statement and some cash equaling the required amount. I will be staying in the usa for one week before landing in Canada. I do not want to take the risk of carrying a draft or that much cash with me for that long.

Please advise. Thanks.

Daniel

Whats AEO? Landing procedures are normally the same for all categories.

Yes, bank statements suffice. You arent expected to bring cash. They probably wont ask to see anything but rather just declare how much you have available. Make sure you declare amounts above 10,000 CASH ONLY in customs form if you end up taking in cash.

AEO applicant do not required POF .......amazing about your consultant.........POF funds are required for normal immigrant without AEO so that they can survive untill they found a job but with AEO you have already and have to join the job and at starting salary and there is not point for POF (Proof of Fund) for AEO landing immigrant..............

I fully agree with awai ali.
You need only to carry enough money for your living expense in Canada till you earn salary from your employer. You Don't have to show any proof to any one while entering from the border.
