Landing to a different destination than the one in COPR

Hi everyone,

We got the permanent residence visa in December and we'll be moving most probably in March.

On our COPR it is written Toronto, Ontario. Can we land to Calgary, in case we change our mind regarding destination? Should we notify them regarding the change, in order to send a new COPR?

If you applied under a federal class like skilled worker for example, you are free to land anywhere except Quebec. You don't have to notify anybody.
