Landing through US borde

Hello everyone , has anyone done their soft landing through road ? A friend of mine (Pakistani passport holder ) is traveling to US from dubai to meet family and then is planning on going by road to Toronto for her soft landing . Will there be any problem for doing soft landing through US border ? Has anyone had a similar experience ?

Why do you think there will be problem. Of course she can land. No difference from flying in.

Everyone she knows has done their first landing to Canada through airport, hence she is in doubt as that’s perhaps the most common way immigrants land. She wants to know if anyone has done their landing through road , If they question about why she chose road and not airport etc . She doesn’t want to create any doubt or unnecessarily questions

No problem in completing a landing through a land border however she should be more concerned about convincing the airline and US CBP of her intentions on arrival in the US assume on a one way ticket.
