I have a few questions wrt landing-
1. I am planning to visit buffalo to meet a friend and shop around and do landing while coming back.Do I need to tell US officers that I wanted to do landing while coming back to Canada?
2. I have US visa, do I need administrative refusal?

No, you enter the US to meet a friend and shop. That's what you tell them.

Absolutely not, you can cross the line, hang in the US and on the way back present your CoPR to the Canadian
Border officer to complete the landing on the Canadian side.

Thats very helpful! Thanks buddy!
It seems that this link talks about two counters at POE- immigration and CBSA. When landing by road, do we go to just immigration counter and officer takes care of Customs as well?

Do we need an id proof in addition to passport for landing?
My height in my license (just in case they wanna see my other ID) is 2 cm more as compared to what I mentioned in PR form. Is that an issue?

When you cross by car, you will talk to the officer in the booth and he will then direct you into the CBSA building
to complete the landing with a different officer inside.

Bank statements are not required for the landing procedure, however it's recommended to bring.
Yes, a printed bank statement should be sufficient.

One more ques for seniors-
When you guys landed on canadian side, have you handed both passport and CoPR to officer (even before he asked for CoPR) and told that you are here for landing?

Haven't completed my landing yet, but yes, that's what I would do.
