hi everyone
i am a Canadian citizen, my wife and daughter are immigrating to Canada and we will be traveling together. when we arrive at the airport can they come with me thru the Canadians custom line or do they have to go thru the foreigners line and can i accompany them in whichever line we go thru. any information would be helpful, oh we are landing at Pearson if that makes any difference

Hi there. My wife is a Canadian citizen, I am not (work permit). We travelled together outside of Canada twice this year and both times upon arrival the airport crew sent us to the Canadien citizens line together. Calgary and Vancouver airports. But rules might vary I guess if it’s your family’s first time entering Canada.
