Pls help!!
We landed at Toronto Airport on 15th Feb.
The IO asked us for our COPR and passports and told us to wait.
After abt 10 mins he called us and welcomed us.
Told us to sign on the COPR and stamped. Gave us back our passport and 2nd copy of COPR and said we were now permanent residents of canada.
He didnot ask for Proof of funds or even an address to which the PR card will be sent.
I asked him doesnot he require a canadian address to send us our PR card.
He said, isnt it mentioned on the COPR. We said no and he also checked and found no address mentioned on COPR.
He then asked if we had an address and we gave him our canadian address which he wrote down on a piece of paper.
And that was it.
Now we are back in USA, but the status of our application shows
You entered Canada at the Lester B Pearson International Airport, Terminal No. 1 office on February 15, 2015 and became a Permanent Resident.
How can we know if our PR cards are in process? How can check the status of our PR cards?
Do we need to submit IM5444 form?
Pls advice.

For me they noted the address on the computer and i was told that i will get it in 6-8 weeks time. No status on the PR card is something concerning.
