HI All

I received my COPR and got my passport stamped with Canadian Immigration Visa on it. I got the stampping from India(New Delhi)

Now my expiry in on November 2019. Hence I need to travel by November 2019. As I am travelling now to Serbia for official purpose, can I land in Canada from Serbia in the month of Oct/Nov.

When I land in Canada should I travel from my home country or can I travel from any country like Serbia?

My worry is what can i land in Canada from any country, will they ask me any questions as why did I travel from Serbia and not from my home country?

Thanks
Sri

You can come from any country. Canada doesn't care how you get to the border, just that you are allowed across it.

Thank you so much for your response.

I have another question, what should i take along when i land in canada for the 1st time.
How do i furnish the POF to immigration officer?
As i will be in Serbia and go to canda for a soft landing. Hence I want to know what can I furnish the POF?

Thanks
Sri

If proof of funds is NOT part of the application requirements, you can forget about it.

Otherwise, you can bring cash, negotiable instruments or a current bank account balance etc.
See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...nada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html for information.
