Landing on PR Visa / Want to visit US after one Month/ can Visitor Visa be used

hi Guys,

I have a question, my wife has got PR visa now and we plan to land this weekend.

what will happen to her visitor visa ? will this then be invalid, can it be used to enter canada again.

Reason i am asking this is that, we are planning to go to US again in a months time, will she be able to come back on this visitor visa as PR card wont be arriving by that time or would we need to apply for a PR travel document to enter back.

should we delay landing itself to one month to make our us visit after one month possible.

any suggestions guys ?

Hi

Delaying the landing is the easiest option. TRVs are not valid after a person becomes a PR and PRTDs can take awhile to be issued.
