I didn't land here, but I did import my car here so I can tell you what I saw.
The process was simple enough.
1. You drive to the border and the officer will ask you to state the purpose of your visit. In my case, I told him I had already landed as a PR, but I was bringing my car over.
2. He took a couple of minutes and then directed me to the CBSA office, which is right there past the border. You simply drive to the building on the right, park (plenty of parking) and go inside. Once you're in, they have various counters for secondary inspection etc. I was directed to the officer who went over my car's paperwork, but I imagine you'd be sent to secondary.
I drove over around 11 AM on a weekday and they were pretty empty. I don't think it should take long.
