Finally after 29 months today I got my letter for landing ...

29 months is a long time to wait (I spread my 39 months, 17 days over two applications at least, but my first application took 30 months for them to refuse.)

Thank you , take me so long becouse I came to canada as a refugee the first process I wait for 39 months and my case was refuse , and after that I got married and after 10 months they transfer my file to the local office after 16 months they call me for interview to validate my relationship why ? Becouse the cic did not believe on my relationship becouse I was a refuse refugee, after that I pass the interview and the same day they give me AIP and after 2 months decision made and last thursday I got my landing interview letter and thats it for me..
Total time 5 .5 years

Yes, normally a refused application like that causes a huge problem. I'd expected my second application (after 30 months for my refusal) to take 18-24 months but circumstances gave me some leverage and the second application was done in 7 months.

Why did the process take so long for all of you? I haven't mailed out the forms yet...30 months is a long time to wait!!!!
