Landing in Canada from US after receiving CoPR in India

Hi,

I am an Indian National, living in India. I have recently received a Confirmation of PR (CoPR). I am planning to Visit to Canada, later this year and have 2 queries before I land in Canada for the first time;

1. City of Destination mentioned in the CoPR is Vancouver, is it mandatory to land in Vancouver for the first time? As I have friends and family in Toronto.
2. I am also planning to visit my family in US, I have a valid US Visitor Visa, is it fine if I make itinerary as India to US --> Stay in US for a month --> US to Canada with CoPR? Is it necessary to Land in Canada from India itself? If I stay in US for a month, will I need to provide any Police Clear Certificate (PCC) or something else?

Please guide if you have any idea or had/heard of any such experience.
