I would never risk my immigration if I have even 10% of doubt regarding Fixed Deposits. Some people have mentioned stating Section 15 of Form IMM5612E (Page 5 of 7) where fixed deposit statements are acceptable, however they must be unencumbered and readily transferable funds.
