LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

I am landing on 9th of september. can someone confirm these are the forms i should keep it ready for landing and if so can you give me the link for these forms.
1. PR Card Application (IMM 5444E). -carry it filled pre-printed, for ease
Not necessary.

2. Goods to Follow List (Form B4 / B4A). -carry it filled pre-printed, for ease
Yes, B4a

3. Goods Accompanying List. -as above, a table of things u r carrying on person (value & Totaled)
Forms required later
Yes, form B4

4. SIN Card Apps Form (NAS 2120). -Not Needed at the A/port [later at Services Canada]
No. Depending on airport, there may be a Service Canada office onsite to apply for SIN #. If not, just go to nearest Service Canada office the next day (or as soon as you can).

Are there any more forms i keep it ready apart from the above.
Can someone give me the links for the above forms where i can download.

No forms needed in advance for provincial healthcare card, nor POF.

Dear All,

I am landing in Canada on 30th Oct 2015. have a query if someone could help:

we are husband & wife landing together & need to show around 15000K CAD as POF, is it ok if we could carry 3000K in cash & rest in travellers cheque??

and once we land their open a account in canadian bank & get the money transferred in that account?? hope travellers cheque could be deposited in Local canadian bank for clearance.

Is the following is the only one form for "goods accompanying")(B4) and "good to follow"(B4A). If yes i don't see a field differentiating where it is B4 or B4A, how can we differentiate them.

I m planning to land in canada on 11th Sep'15. My question is ragarding POF. Can I show my property papers as proof of available funds because as per CIC official website These funds could be in the form of:

•cash
•documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) or
•documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers’ drafts, cheques, travellers’ cheques or money orders).

I would be travelling to toronto from dhaka on 31st oct via Turkish airways flight and will be transiting through ISTANBUL terminalI. we have only 1 hour and 45 mins transit time. can anyone please advice based on your experince how fast we need to be to catch the next flight. also, if you have travelled via Turkish airways, how supposrtive is the airline during transit process at ISTANBUL.

At the time of landing, the immigration officer told us that she has made an online request for our PR cards. She refused to collect the pre-filled forms we were carrying to make the PR Card application. Has anyone else gone through the same experience while landing?

I was carrying the PR Card application as well as photos... However, the immigration officer said that they were not needed and that she had applied for our PR Cards online...

I had to retain the forms with us but now I am worried if I should still go ahead and submit them ..

Quick question because you didn't have friends or family in Vancouver, did you have a permanent address organised prior to landing? If you didn't what was the process for your PR card without a permanent address for it to be sent to?

Can anyone plz let me know if there is certain validity requirement for international passport for visa stamping?

Do we have any CIC rules like " International passport should remain valid at least for 6 or 12 months after the date when immigration visa expires"?

If yes, does that rule refer to infant dependent?

I will be going for a short landing in Edmonton Canada along with my family in Oct 2015.. I will come back after 20 days and my family will stay there. I will rejoin them after few months.

I have few questions to get clarifications for;

1) Our PR visa is stamped for 1 year (as usual) but once we land in Canada, will they stamp a new visa valid for 5 years or they will only issue PR card and cancel the actual stamped visa? As I will be returning back to Dubai via Amsterdam and we can get transit visa exempted only if we have a valid Canadian PR visa not PR card. Also some other countries require Canadian PR visa not PR card for such exemptions? How can we work around this?

2) What are the documents required to apply for Alberta health card? I was told that proof of residence is one of the document required which can be utility bill or bank statement sent to our address. But we need the health card immediately because my wife is pregnant. We will be living with my brother in Edmonton and won't have any utility bills under our name. How can we get around this requirement and also while opening the bank account proof of residence will be required.

3) What are the documents required to open a bank account?

4) Best company to get 3 days rent a car in Toronto Canada.
