Landing in August!

Landing in Saskatchewan in August by air but returning to US to settle my affairs. What do I need to bring? What's the deal with goods to follow? Do I have to make a detailed list of everything I own? Any help would be great!

Congrats on your Landing..You will get a Welcome to Canada package from Immigration that will inform you what to bring..
You need a full list of everything you are brining with you on that day to Canada..and have a complete list of things that are to follow..you must present these at Customs..

make sure you have on your list everything you intend to bring to canada even if they are to arrive later. if you don;t you will pay taxes on them later.
the the forms to customs, they will stamp it and keep a copy and give you the original.
