Hi all,

I am sure this has been asked many times before however to put my mind at rest I thought I would ask the question:

I am landing in Calgary in April, I will be opening a Canadian back account from a branch in the UK when I return there early April and then transferring most of the money into there to be used when we arrive and I will also be carrying some in Cash. Will this be okay as proof if I supply the immigration officials with account proof (i.e. current statement) at the airport. I am hoping this is going to be okay as the funds will already be in Canada and ready to use. I wanted to avoid bankers draft due to the 30 day freeze!

Your advice would be much appreciated

Regards JLT
