Hello, all! I recently received my copr from spousal sponsorship, and I am looking to do my landing on November 1. I've been packing up my belongings and keeping track of what is in each box so I can properly fill out the BSF186/BSF186A form. I've been pretty loose with my labeling and guess of value. For example, "Clothes bag 3" or "Cleaning products" and then providing an estimated value. The only thing I've been more specific on is separating anything that was worth more than around 150cad on its own, and grabbing a serial number when possible.
Is this okay to be more general? I didn't see any concrete advice on how specific I needed to be on the forms, and what they're really looking for. Some of the boxes are really a mishmash of things, so it has been hard to know exactly how to go about packing and documenting.
