Hi guys,
I know this subject has been touched on but the topics are quite old now so I want to start a new thread.

I am looking for anyone's experiences in going to the border to do landing for Canadian PR without a US visa.

What type of questions were asked?
Did you have a hard time without a US visa?
What was the general experience like?

Thanks

PS: then if any of those guys have since applied for a US visitor visa; did you have any difficulty?

all you have to do is go to the US side, tell them you're flagpoling and they send you back.

Does this count as a refusal to "cross" the border? I have heard if you do this then you get a mark against your name and next time you try to enter the US you have trouble. I have also heard that it is totally fine and has no negative impact.

Does your passport get stamped refused entry to US?

No impact at all.
I will PM you on my experience of flagpole. Check it out!

It's an administrative refusal, not a refusal for cause. It's the difference between "turn around, you forgot your passport" and "turn around, we caught you smuggling".

They give you a piece of paper, rather than stamping your passport.
