My immigrant visa IM-1 is expiring on the 7th of November and I still have not received my landing documents. I would like know how much longer will it take before I receive my landing documents. Also if I don't receive them within the set deadline, then what measures do I have to take to enter Canada? Do I reapply for the IM-1 visa? Do I have to get my medical done again?

Would really like answers. Time is running short

Thank you

I believe your question belongs in the Skilled Worker section of this forum, BUT you ABSOLUTELY must LAND before your IM-1 visa expires. Don't know what you have to do to correct that.

You need to have your IM-1 Visa, and the COPR (confirmation of permanent residence) papers (2 copies).

If you did not receive the COPR, contact the Visa Office immediately.

If you have them, then proceed to Canada immediately!

This is cutting it incredibly close. You should raise an URGENT case specific enquiry to the Visa Office that issued the IM-1 as well as any other method that you can think of.
