Dear Seniors,
I have heard some friend telling that one should land in Canada in working day is that true. I am planning to fly on Friday and shall land on Saturday. Please advise.

It really shouldn't matter. You end up a Permanent Resident either way.

people recommend for landing on working day ( and in working hours) so that one can apply for SIN at the airport itself. Else, you need to got to the service center for SIN, the next working day. Apart from this advantage, I do not see any other benefit.

Hi friends,
Recently I hv recd my visa along with copr. I am planning to complete my landing formalities in Sep 2015. I hv booked my tickets for Winnipeg (Manitoba). As there was no direct flight for Winnipeg, flight will be routed through Ottawa. My question is that can i complete my landing formalities in Ottawa or landing formalities will be complted in Winnipeg. Halt at Ottawa is 3.30 hrs. Is this is the sufficient time to complete the landing formalities.

Ahh. That makes sense.

I'm in Canada already, and already have a SIN.
