So I live in Halifax, and getting out of here takes lots of time and money!...I'm not in a position to afford landing at a border cross, so I called for an appointment.

My question is, for you guys who have done it.

1) How long did it take for the appointment letter to arrive to your mailbox? (the CIC officer on the phone told me that it take 3 weeks)

2) When was your appointment dated?...in other words, after you receive your confirmation for the appointment, how much longer you had to wait to sign your CPR?

Thanks!

Someone wrote a detailed post about inland landing pretty recently. Please try to search and find it.

How long it takes really depends on the part of the country and what their wait times are like when you try to book your appointment. I friend of mine had to wait two and a half months. Hopefully your wait isn't as long.

Thanks guys....

I'm in awe as I called CIC for an appointment for inland landing in Halifax last Friday May 20th morning.

AND I JUST GOT THE DATE!! today Tuesday May 24th on my mailbox!!!...how quick is that? (CIC officer told me on the phone that it usually takes 3 weeks to receive the appointment!)....after many delays on the previous stages finally I got lucky for once!

Anyways, my interview will happen Wednesday NEXT WEEK!, so in July 2nd, after just 2 weeks since getting my passport back...I will land officially!!!!....yipee!

Cheers
