Hi everyone,

I have few questions about landing. How does it work? We are coming under skilled workers. Are officers going to ask many questions at the airport?

And also is that a problem that my husband's IELTS and labor department assessment going to be expected at the moment of landing ( he is the main applicant). Many thanks for your help!!!!

What does this mean?

As for the other questions, depends upon program and the officer.

Oh I'm sorry misprinted. His IELTS and labor department assessment will expire before we land. Is that going to be a problem?

Not sure about the labour assessment part but IELTS should be ok.

why would labor department assessment be an area of concern for landing process? Not able to see the connection. Do you have PR or not? If so, these documents were evaluated to grant you PR. Post PR issuance, I don't think any of those things matter. For example, your IELTS could be expired as you could have waited 2 years and then landed in Canada as PR. I haven't seen/heard any Immigration Officer inquiring about IELTS.

If you're arriving as permanent resident then all the officers want to see is CoPR.
