I applied for the Quebec Skilled Worker category around 10 years ago and got the CSQ a couple of years ago. The final stage with the federal government is also complete since now I hold a visa on my passport which will expire in December. I'm flying to YUL next month for the landing part. My question is, what should I expect from the immigration officers? I know I should give them an address, so would a friend's address suffice? I'm going to stay around a week at a hotel and then fly back home in order to attend to some unfinished business. My permanent move will be most likely next year. Will they send the PR card to my friend's address? I've been thinking that if my friend receives my PR card, they can mail it to me. I will then use the card to re-enter Canada later. Are my assumptions correct?
