Hi
I am planning to land soon to start the the pr process. While there there I am planning to renew my niv USA visa. After that I will return to continue my job.

My question is what should I declare at the time of landing and how should I prepare. How much money is safe to move and do I need to take cash or will the bank statement suffice? I have a couple of cars and I am thinking of moving one there permanently for my trips there. But on the other hand I don't know if and when I would move there permanently to live because jobs are not as good there

I am also planning to land soon from the U.S. I am also unclear but this is what I think is needs to be done in first landing
- PR Card process (This takes up to around 60 days to get it delivered)
- SIN number process
- few hundred dollars in form of cash or check to open a bank account. (make sure to declare it if the amount is more than 10K CAD)
- If time permits then application for health card.
- List of goods in possession while landing, including car if you are taking one
- List of goods to be followed in next trip, including car if you are taking one (when you will be moving for good)

Keep posted here if you get some better ideas or options.
