Thank you all for your guidance through this trying little immigration challenge that everyone is on this forum for. With all the fantastic advice I will soon be able to bring my wife to Canada, visa granted today. I went with an Immigration consultant and have no regrets, 30 year age difference without an interview, lots of proof of relationship which the forum helped me prepare for. It actually helped any self doubts I had in preparing the app, someone to haggle with at times. In the end I trusted thier judgement and it paid off.
