i think UCI is only for federal (PNP, QSW can have their own No. of reference)
and if u have been assigned a UCI by cic, that's it, that UCI will be with all the time, no matter u apply for work permit, study permit, or PR, it is always the same one

I have UCI Number since 2010 when I were applied for federal and my file has been refused
than I applied for Quebec and get CSQ 2011
so can I used same UCI Number to check my Quebec-federal part or not ???

i am not sure wut u r exactly referring "quebec-federal" part.
sorry to hear that ur previous application got refused, but as far as u correct it, this time it will be ok. after getting ur CSQ, u apply for the federal part (the quebec-federal part?), u will and have to provide the UCI number that has previously assigned to u by cic (the one they reject u ;D).
and u r saying "check", so after u submit ur application to sydney, after a while, they will give u file number (or so-called application number), then on ecas u can use it to "check" ur process. UCI also works, for some ppl; but in my case, UCI doesn't work, dunno y.
