Guys

I got my student visa in dec 2010 and i landed in canada in jan 2011.. I was not so comfortable with the studies which i took.. My visa is valid till Aug 2012, my question is, will i be able to go for a course in may 2012 with the same visa and extend the visa duration after reaching there?

Hi sriram

If you are not comfortable with the studies or the college, then you can change it while you are in Canada ,

you can do it as soon as possible , there is no need to inform CIC about it as you can freely change

between courses and institutions, but don't delay it.

CIC will only extend your visa only if u successfully complete you studies and provide them with a final transcript from the college you attended in Canada .

As my preferred course starts only in September, i came back to india thinking that i can again get back by august or september

My question is, if my visa is valid till AUG 2012, can i travel to canada from india by again getting an admission in a college either by this september or by ext may

If i reach there with the visa i got in my hand, will they question me on the same or i can extend the visa in the airport itself by just showing the admission letter which i will be getting before reaching there?

like I said you do not need to inform CIC about the course / college change neither will they ask about it as long as you have

acceptance letter with you.

regarding extension of your visa :

The visa cannot be extended , only study permits can be extended at CPC -V,

most probably you will have to apply for a TRV inside Canada before your current visa expires.
