Hello,

A friend who has lived in Toronto told me that from the age of 4 children are allowed to attend school (kindergarten) in Ontario for free or for very small amount. My son will be two and a half in September, but I was wondering whether we have to wait until he gets four or he can enroll in September, 2016 when he will be 3 and a half. Please give me any information about this.

Thank you in advance.

Your child can start kindergarten in the year he turns four. So if he is going to be turning for December 2016 or earlier - he can start kindergarten in September 2016. If he is going to be turning four January 2017 or later - then he would start in September 2017.

Hi. My daughter will be 4 in April. I want to make her study in Canada. What to do for that. Can I go as dependent with her and work in Canada? Or I need some visa? Please reply

No - you cannot go as a dependent with her and work in Canada. There is no such visa.

If you want your daughter to study in Canada, she would need to go alone. You would have to find a guardian for her in Canada who will care for her.

If you want to work in Canada, you need to find an employer in Canada who is willing to give you a job offer and obtain an approved LMIA so that you can apply for a closed work permit.
