my boyfriend wishes to move from greece to here as fast as possible, and the economical crisis is also a very important factor n all of this. he is 18years old. he works in a supply store for some companies.if we ave family friends that have a clothing store and can garantee him a job of somesort in that could it work if they make a job offer?and he brings it to the canadian embassy in greece..?
also,f u have a job offer i have heard you do not need to have such a large amount of money on you,what ammount does that correspond to?

In order for him to get a work permit, the employer needs to apply for a labour market opinion (LMO). They need to prove that they advertised for staff and could find no Canadian or PR who wanted the job or was qualified for the job and yet they are offering market wage. If they get the LMO, he can use it to apply for a work permit.

If he is coming with a job, I suppose it would be enough for him to bring a couple of grand in order to cover his rent and costs until he starts to get paid.
