Hello everyone

My ex-common law partner left the country a year ago with my two daughters (5-7 y.o.) She's now asking if the kids need my authorization to travel abroad with their grand parents only, not with the mother.

I was granted the custody of the kids by the Quebec court in January but the mother never returned to Canada so the decision has not been effective.

Do the kids might have problems travelling abroad with their relatives even having authorizations from both parents?

Thanks in advance for any information.

assume you have seen this link for advice and although this is Canada specific advice and is impossible to guarantee same advice works for all countries it is a start given the intention is the same worldwide to manage potential child trafficking. In reality might not even be asked to show anything given expect a degree of profiling goes on behind the scenes based on origin and destination , just a case of being prepared.
