Dear friends,

My kids were born in 2009 and 2011 when we were in Canada and were PRs, so I read somewhere they are Canadian born. It is true?

If we are not living in Canada since 2011, when they (my children) turn 18 and want to study and live in Canada, would they have all rights and benefits as Canadian even thought we are not Canadian or PRs at that time?

Thanks for your clarification,

Yes, they can apply for proof of citizenship based on birth, as well as Canadian passports.

The don't have to apply for proof of citizenship, they have Canadian birth certificates.
