Hi,
I and my wife got permanent resident status in July 2009, This July we will return to Canada before 730 days rules.
We are waiting baby.
I work in Turkey for an international company. Our group also has a Canadian company located at Montreal. Our top management doesn’t want to leave from work.
1. If I started to work at our Canadian company, Can I return to Turkey, my payroll will continue at Canadian company.
2. If our top management found a small business in Canada, Can I work for this company in Turkey?

These ways is feasible? Or is there any other solution
If its feasible, what is the process time?
If cannot find a solution, I will stay in Canada 3 years, after citizenships process, I will return to Turkey.

Sometimes they are strict about these exceptions to the residency requirements. If you were working for a company in Canada and they transferred you to another country, that is ok but if you were already working for this company in Turkey, they may see it differently. It is better for you and your family to get citizenship. You will always be able to go back regardless if you have that.

Thanks Leon for fast answer.
I have two questions,
1.At CIC document, for employment out of Canada, I saw “tax declaration”. But I didn’t declare any tax form because I lived only one month in Canada. Is it big problem?
2.My wife is pregnant. Is Pregnancy an exception for waiting period healthy insurance? I read in forum, pregnancy is exception. I sent an e-mail to RAMQ, but they didn’t give enough information.

If you never actually moved to Canada or working in Canada, you never became a resident for tax purposes so not filing is fine.

RAMQ makes an exception for pregnancy related expenses.
