Hi everyone,
My wife is PR sponsored by me. She has 2 years BCom degree from a college affiliated with Karachi university. Her degree is from Karachi university. Does she needs to demonstrate language proficiency for citizenship by taking ielts or other language test, or because of her degree she can get a waiver
Thanks

Please note that providing a diploma as a language proof is not a "waiver", but an actual proof, just like IELTS. And everyone is free to select the proof of their choice when applying for citizenship, regardless of how they got their PR.

For OP : did she study in English, not just a specific course but the whole curriculum, and have an actual proof from her university specifying the language? If so, that should do the trick. But if a complete stranger (the IRCC agent) can't, at first glance, figure out whether she studied in English, you'll need a different language proof, which then could be IELTS.
