Greetings, I have the following situation: So far I have scored 404 points in EE, not considering my Canadian work experience. I have started to work at a major Canadian company at the beginning of April 2019, now I am not sure how to state this in Express Entry to get more points. It obviously does not count as one year of Canadian work experience, and in my opinion it does not fulfill the requirements of "job offer". The job is full-time, requires an academic background and several years of work experience, with a comparable salary.

Can any of you guys give me some pointers how to handle this in Express Entry? Thank you very much in advance.

Kai

What work permit are you on? Is it a closed work permit and did you get an LMIA?

If you did, then you may get points for it. If not, then you just have to wait one year to get points.

I hold a Post Graduate Work Permit till 11/2021, a LMIA was not necessary, and I doubt that I could get one for this position.

Yes, then you can't get any points for arranged employment. You will get points for Canadian experience after one year, so till then, sit tight.
