I just mailed my wife's and my documents from here in Alberta today to David Cohen's office in Montreal using Canada Post Priority. Is this a reliable method of shipping? According to tracking information, it will be in Montreal on Thursday the 23rd.

Anything with a tracking number should be reliable; however, you can also do the old fashioned telephone call, just to confirm or double check your package did arrived. Just in case :) And always, always, always keep a photocopy of everything for your personal file. Lawyer's offices and CIC both lose documents as you will see from reading on this forum. Not saying that will happen to you, it is simply a good practice.

Very good advice

I also did the same . in my interview , the officer couldnt find my FBI (which i sent few months ago) which was accepted by then as my gcms said. Luckily I had a photocopy of it that time which I showed to my officer and the officer accepted it otherwise I would have to order FBI again which would have taken weekS
so, yes always keep photocopies of whatever you send to your lawyer or CIC. That time a person thinks its waste of time, paper and ink but you never know when you need them.

Thanks :). I have read several stories like yours and one where the applicant was at the interview and was asked for a document and the applicant said "I sent that in a long time ago". The IO rifles through the file, while the person is sitting there and lo and behold - the document was IN the file. Scary..... :p

I appreciate all of the replies, folks. The package arrived to Campbell Cohen this morning, right on schedule. :) Five minutes after it arrived, David Cohen's office emailed me to let me know it had arrived. That's pretty good service. :)
