Hi all,

I started preparing application forms long time ago, and finally, I sent it yesterday!

But, last night after I sent it, I found that I used old forms for Generic and additional family forms.

I started comparing those old ones and new ones, but I couldn't find any differences in Generic form and

There is only a minor change in Family form.( they added email address section for spouse and dependent child).

I am not sure this will effect my application because I have no spouse and child.

Do you guys think that CEC officer will return my package as I used old forms?

Please share your experience and ideas plz!

Thanks all~!

Depends on how old your forms are. All you can do is wait and see if you get AOR or if
the application is sent back to you.

Thanks.

old ones I used are Generic 2013/4 (now they use 2013/7) and Family form I used is 2008/4 version (2013/9 version released in September,2013). But the family form haven't been changed for 5 years, but suddenly, cic changed it.

Ok, so you've been using the previous forms. You should be fine since it's a recent change.
However, if CIC returns your application make sure you use the latest forms.
However, if you get the AOR, you should be fine or CIC will ask you to submit updated forms.

All you can do for the time being is wait. 8)

Thanks brother! :D

I used an old version of Generic form in my application too. I realized this a week after I mailed the application. This is what I did -
I e-mailed Sydney office the new forms and also the originals (signed copy) through courier. After a month, I got the email response from Sydney office that the new forms have been added to my application.
I received my AOR almost a month after receiving the above email.
I would recommend you send the new forms ASAP.

just send a new form if you dont receive your AOR in 6 weeks. as they sometimes take 2 to 3 months to return the application. you dont want to waste so much time

Go for it. It will not hurt either ways.
