Just got PR - Do We Need a New Manitoba Health Card?

Hello!

My husband just landed as a PR recently (Manitoba), and we were wondering if we have to get a NEW Manitoba Health Card.
I saw NEW because he was a student here before becoming a PR, and under a relatively new (~1-2 years old) law, in Manitoba students are given health benefits, so he already has a manitoba health card.

I don't see why he would need a new health card but he might want to inform them his status has changed in case they have put his health card down to expire with his student visa or something like that.
