Hello,

My wife just got PPR today but right now she is with me in Canada since december for visit
There is a section on the last page said Canadian resident:
We apply outland

If you have a postal adress in Canada and and you will be in Canada at least 3 months, we can send the paper to Ottawa.

We can send this to Ottawa or she need to send it to Mexico?

Congratulations
You can send it to Ottawa

Thank you

And how the landing is working?

The passports will be returned back to you along with COPR after that you have two options for the landing
1- book an appointment at the local immigration office.
2- going to the border.

I’m in the same boat. Just got the PPR and my wife is here on a visitor visa.

We are in Ottawa so will send it to the Ottawa address.

My question is this. She arrived in November with a return ticket 90 days later that we did not use.

There is no date on her passport stamp, so I assume she received 6 months on entry. This means her current entry will expire in May.

Should we bother with an extension in April (within the last 30 days) or just forget about it?

I mean if we send her passport in this week, it may not be back before the current entry expires.
