Just got our Permanent Resident Visa, but my passport is less than 6 months, can I still travel?

Hi guy, I just want to ask and find the answer from your accurate references.

We just got our Confirmation Of Permanent Resident (Documents) and PR Visa on Passports that will expire on 18th July 2019. But my Philippine Passport has less than 6 months. Should I renew my passport? (If I do that I will need to re-apply for a COPR again again). What should I do?

Hi

You can land without renewing your passport.

We are planning to go to Canada on 29th June 2019, and my Philippine passport will be less than 6 months by then. Any reference I can read about this?

There is no reference because Canada doesn't have a minimum passport validity.

Thank you for answering me, I am worried because the airline might stop us from boarding the plane because of the less 6 months validity on our Philippine passports.

The airline can't stop you when Canada does not have a validity rule.
