hello all,
I sent my spousal application on DEC 18th 2015. Still waiting for my AOR.

I had my parents application received in January 2015 and it shows " :)Application Received" on the website.

I just became a citizen of Canada. Have not applied for passport yet. Do i need to inform immigration or wait till i get some sort of file number to reference to?

What is the best method to inform cic about these changes?

someone please?

I think its ok to just wait until u get some reference number. Coz from now until u get a number , nothin will change.
Usually , the best way o contact is thru the website. i will do a quick search and give u d link

Here is the link
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx?_ga=1.50017510.1771358848.1444665891

On the page , there is a column for file or UCI number. So i guess u will have to wait anyways

Hope that helps

awesome thanks a lot

1. IRCC doesn't care that you have become a Canadian citizen and it has no effect on your applications. So there is no need to inform them.
