Has any June applicant got the passport request? I sent them an email, last week and they said your file is finalized (which I don't know what that means!). I still have not received yet. I'm thinking to send them a case specific inquiry. Do think that 's a good idea?
I don't even know they if they will email me or send me a mail!

I haven't gotten my passport request yet.. I sent Buffalo a case-specific inquiry yesterday after reading some of threads on this forum. I got a response today, letting me know that a month ago, my file was transferred to the Detroit Consulate office. At least you received a response saying a decision has been made. I don't even know what is going on with my file as of right now, as I cannot submit a case-specific inquiry until mid-April (as advised on the email response).

I'm not impressed with how it was not communicated to me in any way that my file was transferred. I mean to find out about it a month later?? SERIOUSLY??
Has anyone else been notified that long after the case transfer?

Oh I see, I have not been even notified if any transfer. but, now I think u re close. just be patient.
 
Hi,

My file was also transferred to Detroit. I don't know when they have transferred. When I asked about my present status last Thursday, they informed me about the transfer. Just now I got PPR request.

Congrats!

So you never got an email from them directly to say your file was transferred right? Like you had to send in an inquiry before they told you about it?
 
I don't know when they have transferred the file. I sent and enquiry to them then only I got the information.

i did enquiry two times in general and i got the response..........!!

Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

also i did an enquiry through my local MP the response is........!!

there is no problem with application and background checks are on........!!

there is no update on ecase as well apart from.......!

we received application and medical results received........... october 6th 2011........!!

status still .................................application received..................!!

no update of..............in process............!! or we started to process your application................!!

i donno what happens..........!!

just hope for good soon.............!!

its my family application ..................!! along with mine.........!!

Today I emailed me regarding the PPR.

They received the application on June 29, 2011. Medicals received in November. Started processing on Jan 5, 2012 and got PPR request on Feb 15, 2011.
