I'm lucky it was on the list of occupations before and after June 26th. Hoping all will continue to go well, and I can get the AOR by the first week of september.

Still awaiting a positive assessment

Hi, I sent my application last June 3. I have not yet received a positive assessment. Why is it taking longer? my friend got her positive assessment exactly 2 months after she sent all her documents. Has anybody who filed in June gotten a response yet? please reply, I'm growing less optimistic by the minute. I need some good news...

Hi, It is taking around three months to get Credit card or DD charged. Also, check the May 2010 applicants list. Only two people got AOR till now. I have added your name to this list. Tune-in for more info. This week, many of us should get response from CIO. Goodluck with your applicaiton!

Hi jepipie
Now a day’s CIO is taking more time in processing ,as assumed that it is a after effects of flooded apps in the month of April. Your friend must had applied before april. 90 Days are normal time to get any initial response. So wait patiently…..

I don't see your NOC code 1122 in 38-list. It is on the new list. Did you apply under FSW2 (with arranged employment) category?

CIC tried to charge my credit card on 21 August but they could not as they did not have the security code. Is there anyway I can let them have the necessary code?

As far as I know they dont need any security code.
Maybe you should cancel it in your bank?In the payment form there is no place for security code.They just ask for your CC number.
