I have a question here, when sending the updated forms, we should send only the NOTARY signed photocopies of certificates that are part of the update and not the ones which still hold good. For example, i submitted my IELTS and marriage/education certificates previously and there are no changes to it and hence I do not have to again submit the NOTARY signed photocopies. Where I changed my employer for which I need to send the NOTARY signed photocopies. Is my understanding correct? Please let know. Thank you

As part of the request they have requested for the following:

a. Medicals for principal applicant and all dependants
b. Certain updated versions of the forms
c. PCC
d. Passport-sized photographs
e. RPRF
f. POF
g. Passports

yes, u are absolutely right.
As regard change in the status of employment, it is assumed that u must have sent communication in this regard to VO with fresh employment letter..The new employment has to have same title of job nd under the same NOC AS DEFINED IN THE LIST declared by CIC as applicable to MI1(PREJUNE 2010) APPLICANTS.
I am sure ,u must have taken care of this aspect in terms of instructions imparted in the letter,advising us our 2nd file number(2ND AOR).

Hi all
Need some advice if possible
I did my medicals in april 2013 and medical line added on may 10 and sent all the updated documents and recieved by PVO on 23/06 sent them email on 23/7 and answered that my file is undergoing security check which might take between several weeks and severla months. I am residing in Saudiarabia for the last 14 years and my only travels is a yearly vacation to Beirut.
I am so worried now becoz I have 3 kids that will start school in september and it is very costy here ( almost 9000 $)for the first semster nonrefundable. And if they do not start by mid of sept they lose their places,Do u think i should wait and catch schools in Canada or there will be stiil a lot of time until i got passport requests?
I am ready to move anytime they stamp the visas.
Everyone's opinion is highly appreciated.

Hi all,
I'm also June 2010 applicant. Submitted on 25-june-2010. Application reviewed in May 2012. GCMS notes all OK.
So probably I'm at the end of the list. It's first time I'm posting on this forum.
So who are getting MRs now... And when can I expect to get mine.

After MR and its expenses, RPRF, PCC, POF,Passport to VO to get freezed etc etc and after all that things still there is a possiblity of rejection???

How many of the MI1 people had been through that hurdle...

My concern, if they were not satisfied then why do they send MR directly without calling for not any interviews?

Please somebody explain...

Congrats! I also received my MR today along with the same docs u mentioned. But they have this below line mentioned for PCC, POF, Photo and passport.Do we need to send the PCC and POF again?

It is rarest of the rare occasion when an applicant shall be sbjected to rejection after MR. At this stage, the applicant is through quantitative nd qualitative check,pendig admissibilty part which has direct relation to security check.Yes,if the applicant submits conflicting information in the updated forms,clarification may be sought even by callig his/her personal interview or otherwise.

i am pre june 23 2010 .secondry applicant coz my wife is main applicant..and i got medical+ppr two days back but my passport is going to xpire in dec 2013,l my consultant said that do medical and ppr on my this pold passport and then apply for renew passport and attached the slip reciept of renew passport... so friend is it right...? please help wht should i do i have only 40 days to submit it....

Since at present, your Passport is valid, you can do your Medicals based on this. As you yourself mentioned, give this PP for renewal (preferably TATKAL to save time and be within the deadline of 45 days for submission) and submit the renewed passport to NDVO.
