Hello Sunny/everyone,
I received my medical-request through my agent and I have scheduled appointment at a medical center this coming week.

1. I have been asked to update all my previous apps (IMM 0008, 5669, 0008DEP, 5562, 0008SCHEDULE, 3, 5406, 5476
2. Then I have the letter saying:Finally, you are required to provide the following, if they have not already been submitted and the list is:
a. PCC
b. passport-size photographs
c. Right of Permanent Residence fees
d. Proof of available funds
e. Passport/Travel Document

All the above has to be sent within 45-days from the date of the letter. So should I send the passport also? I understood earlier there would be separate request for passport? How did it happen in your case?

Regards,
Jerry

The MILLION DOLLAR Question...!!!!

PPs of many members on the Forum are stuck at CHC for months together....no idea of return, at the moment - more so due to the ongoing strike of PAFSO.

Good Luck.

Regards
NVLN.

Thanks NVLN. Oh yes, you are correct; I am aware of the PAFSO strike. Very sad indeed. Hope the strike ends soon/already ended and normalcy returns.
Another quick question, I already showed bank-statements with 13K of CAD when I applied...should I again showcase the bank-statements when I update the applications?

Regards,
Jerry

Great To hear that, Jerry, Congrats, now as per the mail you need to submit the passports, but with the current strike which is on be prepared to be without Passports for quite sometime as they are not stamping the visa's.

I think this is a strategy of the strikers, to issue lots of MR's so that the applications inputs increase and than not to decide the cases so that the pendency increases.

This way they want to build up the pressure.

Any way if you do not need to travel in near future than you must submit the Passports.

Congrats again.

Sunny.

Hi Jerry_Canada,

Yes. In the current Set, you need to include the latest Bank Statement / any other equivalent Statement as Proof of Funds (by equivalent Statement, I mean Copies of Bank FD Receipts, Statements of Mutual Funds, or any such Liquid Funds.).

Good Luck once again.

Regards.
NVLN.

Visa offices remained open today

Thanks Sunny; that/striker's motive sounds scary. But I have no choice rather to submit it, as the 45 day limit is drawing near...hopefully the strike should end soon. What about your case? Did you also submit the docs and passport? when you did your medicals???
