Dear All,
I am new to CanadaVisa forum.

I have couriered my Application on 27-05-2010 which was recieved by CIC on 01-06-2010. cic.gc.ca is currently showing "For applications sent before June 26, 2010, the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is currently working on applications received up to June 25, 2010".

Its mean that my application has been worked out but I have not received any reply (AOR) yet.

Can any body tell me that should I receive the AOR during the period CIC was working on my application OR I can recieve it know/later?

welcome to this forum.
right now CIO working on till 25 June applicants. U can see above in list that CC/DD are being charged but nobody has received any response or mail from CIO. it will take 3 weeks more time to get initial response from CIo. So wait patiently. mean while check with your bank if your CC/DD has got charged.

Hello,
You can check if you credit card or draft is cashed.If you see "May list", you will see that very few people have got AOR. As per normal processing, you should get AOR within three weeks of CC/DD charge. Now process seem to have altered and AORs have slowed down.
 
Is it mean that if my DD is encashed than I am selected for further processing?

And yet my DD wasnt been charge yet really wondering why? Lakhvinder any updates to your DD??
 
Hi,

Congrats to all those those who had their CC cashed this week. I was feeling quite depressed because I called my bank today and was informed that my DD has not been cashed. I still feel hopeful however because I see members whose NOC was on the 38 list (like mine) getting cleared. So I'll keep my fingers crossed. Hope next week will bring good news to the rest of us. It is nice though to see the CC/DD column filling up.

It may take time to know the status for DD charge but it looks like the safest payment method. Wishing that you will hear good news news soon!
 
MY Credit Card is not charged.. I send the application on 2nd June and CIO received on 9th june. I applied under FSW3(1 Year in Canada + Job offer from employer) -0213(NOC)..MY CC is not yet charged..i am worried ..Do i need to call CIO ?

Thanks for your concern, I tried to know the status of my DD but my bank was not able to track it due to some technical problem. I can not do anything except waiting....wish me good luck. :D

Do u have started to collect your docs...wish u all the best.
