URGENT

Dear all,
Till yesterday I was really happy because the last week we received the e-mail with Passport Request from VO. And as required, immediately we sent by courier (UPS) our passports and the draft of payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee.

But today I had a very stressfully day:
Unfortunately we were told today by the UPS that our package was not delivered to the VO. The courier has written as a reason that “Consignee Will Not Accept Delivery of a Package During a Certain Time Period”.

I would like to know if any problem has occurred or this was just a misunderstanding of the courier because VO office was closed today (21 May) for the Victoria Day.

I am thinking to write an urgent e-mail to the VO.
What do you think?
Any idea please…

I was worried because they called me from UPS to tell me for the problem and that in the cases of this reasons “Delivery not accepted” there is the danger that the local UPS to send it back to us.
So you think it is not a need to disturb the VO…

Hi, dont sweat it yet, usually VO's ask couriers to come at a different date and time of their convenience. IMO TNT will the package the next day.

Dear all,

I received the e-mail with the passport request last week.

I noticed that the Application number in the subject line (if this was the Ap Nr) was not the same as my Application Number till know.

Do you think that this is a copy/paste mistake of the officer OR in this phase of our process we are assigned a new file number?????

Any similar experience to share????

My bring forward date is tomorrow and I know nothing will happen so not enjoying this,

One thing to notice is that ...in the last two Caips notes The Line which shows our B'fd date looks like

Paper file sent to PA ( put away, storage place for paper files) , File B'Fd to XXX on ---------2011

But Now its like : Paper file sent to MPR , File B'Fd to M1G on 22 May 2012

Now what is the meaning of MPR surely not visa officers name code, is it any department, or place what is this?

One more thing there is no line to request ECU for MR or PPT ( I wonder WHY), just B'fd date is there and pending MR—PPT-- RPRF written only
Seniors plz comment on this situation
