Dear Lakhvinder Ji,

As Bank acknowledged me that my Fixed Deposit is going to get mature on December 8 and as we all know that our process will take some extra months to be finalized so I told my Bank to renew it for another Nine months with some formalities done.
Since, I had already sent the Fixed Deposit certificate to New Delhi along with Full Documents on Jan 2010 so, my question is do I need to send them the new Certificate now again?

Thanx in an advance.

Pal

Hi Pal,
There is no use to send any information regarding POF now since they can ask to provide updated docs when they start processing your application. Just try to maintain the required funds in your account.

I think lakhvinder is right. In reply to my CSQ, VO replied that they will ask for additional document when they start processing my application. So, they would ask again for PCC and POF for sure. So, it is of no use sending the same now.

Buddy they will ask you if they need and as your visa office is New Delhi so 100 percent
they are going to ask your financial documents again during medical time

Hello Seniors,
Is it mandatory that every VO will conduct inquiry to your office in order to check your job status/ duties/ experiences before medicals?
Expecting your reply please.

no it is not mandatory for VO.......He/she can bypass the inquiry

It’s not mandatory if your supporting documents are good enough to prove authenticity of employment they will not go for enquiry but if they find anything not convincing then they definitely do. Moreover as sometime they pick randomly for interview calls, they can pick for experience check too. Thus it all depends on visa officer handling your file.

Hi Lakhvinder / Mehulca,

Please dont tell me that they will ask again for Police Clearance Certificate, when they start review.. in the process of obtaining PCC from US Indian Consulate , they lost my passport and visa.. :'( It took 3 mths to get PCC from Indian Consulate in US
Secondly with a great difficulty i could obtain PCC from Poland, where i lived in past..

If you can clarify : since currently I am in US.. whether they will require PCC from Poland again, for which PCC has already been submitted with full doc.. or only for US - where currently I am living (post full doc submission).. or for India also (Native of) ?

Thanks

Hi,

If your PCC is more than an year old they will probably ask for US FBI clearance and your native country PCC.

I can say this because I submitted my pCc of US , UK and India, in my GCMS notes in front of the UK and India PCC it says expired and its nothing in front of the US . I am in UK right now and lived in US from 2008-2009.

This will become a big big problem for me.... as my US Visa is lost and Indian Consulate ask for Notarized copy of US visa for PCC. :( .. i dont understand why Indian consulate ask for US visa for Indian PCC .. where FBI doesnt ask for visa for issue of US criminal record/ US PCC..
