1. What are the 2nd AOR contents, can you please share the sample of it. Is it for only acknowledging that your documents have been received by VO, or it says that your documents are in line ......what all - 2ND AOR CONTAINS ONLY 3 PAGE LETTER STATING THEY HAVE (YOUR RESPECTIVE CHC) RECEIVED YOUR APPLICATION AND IT IS UNDER PROCESS.

2. Does 2nd Aor comes through email, normal post or speedpost / registered post - NORMAL POST

3. Does it says that your file is now in process - YES IT SAYS SO WITH TIME LINE

I was given a new file number Starting with Bxxxxxxxxx. I cannot access ecas with the new number and
neither with the old number.

Whoever is updating the spreasheet, kindly update my second AOR date to 20 Janaury 2011.

Congratulations for second AOR.
Nobody is able to check ecas, CIO has not updated our file online yet.

I was filling Appendix A of New delhi visa offcie specific instructions. There in point 12 which is related to police verification, there is no check box under catagory F (which is our catagory). Could you please look into this.

Hi Anubhav,
Actually you are checking new VO list that is. IMM 7029 E (08-2010) which is meant for post 26 june applicants as they need to send complete docs to CIO except PCC, For pre 26 june please refer IMM 7029 E (10-2009).

you are right but you need to submit it as FSW also, here is what they say

POLICE CERTIFICATES AND CLEARANCES
Please consult our Web site at: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp for specific and up-to-date information on how to obtain police certificates from any country.
Note: For applications received at the (CIO) prior to June 26, 2010, you must submit police certificates with your complete application and supporting documents to the visa office within the 120 day deadline set out by the CIO.

Does anyone know of any May or June applicant who can check their ECAS status? None of the post-June-26 applicants can check theirs yet.

It seems CIC have abandoned the system since May applicants

Not a single applicant from May and June thread specifically who received AOR on and after 28 Sept,2010 are able to check ecas status. Possibly CIO yet not updated their data online.

Having done some reading it seems CIC are aiming to roll out their new Global Case Management System (GCMS) by April 2011, so I imagine they have stopped adding applicants to the soon-to-be outdated ECAS system.

Whether they are able to provide access by April 2011 probably depends on workloads and backlogs I guess.

But IMO nobody after May 2010 will be able to check their status until the new system comes online.

So, to reveal this thought - we need to wait until VO start processing our cases, and check after.

guys ! as per understanding , pre 26th june applicant , will not get the medical request even in last six months , man it is really frastating , does any one has a different view , specially thinks it will be faster than this , please justify

i received my 2nd AOR with the same file number that CIO issued to me and can't access ECAS
