Yes these are mentioned in our VO checklist actually it varies from VO to VO. if it is not required by your VO then you dont need to send.
What are you sending in landing history.I dont get this ..!

Landing history is a proof that my sister landed in Canada in 2007.When she arrived at what time etc..I dont know why they need it.
I think SIN number is more important rather than landing history.

Ok you mean COPR ( confirmation of permanent residence) by landing history, your VO is asking for less docs rather than our. Other docs like utility bill and job letters are needed to prove current residency in Canada.

wish you all the best for collecting docs.

Hi Seniors / Experienced

a. According to you, in general what are the chances of rejection in the second stage i.e. after receiving the file number.

b. In the PR application it states "all documents are subject to verification". Does anyone have any idea what does it mean
to verify? Do they appoint third parties to do verification?

Please throw some leads or comments.

I don't understand if they can confirm your duties on phone why can't they provide the same in writing, anyways in absence of it you can write self explanation letter with reason for why they are not issuing you that letter and along with list of your JD, you can send it. Apart from this if you have offer letter or appointment letter mentioning your duties you can include that.

Hi ipog,

a. there are chances of rejections at 2nd stage for some reasons like

1 fail to provide supportive docs for work and job duties, qualifications.
2.total points are less than 67
3.Short of fund or source of fund is not genuine
4.Language proficiency is basic or moderate

b.Yes they do verification for your work , qualification and even for your fund.

I don't know how they do verification by third party or wat...seniors can help you on this.

They can't pry into your bank details without your knowledge (that's illegal and the bank will not give them details). If they are unsatisfied with your proof of funds they can ask for further proof. Also I have heard some people from the UK are asked to obtain an Experian credit check so that they can prove their net assets are greater than their net debts etc, unsure what the equivalent is in other countries.

AFAIK usual reasons for failure at visa office are supporting documentation, especially if they are unsatisfied with work duties or lack of documentations causes you to drop below 67 points.

Of course the visa office's role post-June-26 may be diminished somewhat since CIC have all the supporting documents to hand with the initial application.

Wayne.

Hi ipog,

In stage 2 there are two kind of checks - Background & Security.
Background check is to verify all the data you submitted is correct. They may hire (if they are in doubt) third3rd party companies to check your employment history or do it themselves. In my opinion many big MNC companies are already hiring 3rd party companies for doing this in India.

Security checks start after your medicals are submitted. I think they check for criminal history here and they use 3rd party agencies here as well.

Refer to Qorax's explanation:

Hi Lakhvinder,

Thanks for ur reply. These guys are finikki about certain things and providing exp. letter is one of those. Although there is no such policy but still they r not issuing it bcz they know i can't do anythng of them.
I have appointment/offer letter but it doesn't have my job responsibilities. Even my designation doesn't state whether i work in accounts dept (it's Sr. Associate).
So, i am just gonna write an explanation letter stating cmpny cant provide any letter but my responsibilities can be verified on phone, offer letter and my salary slips.

Keeping my fingers crossed for this.

Thanks,
Ak

Hi AK,
As you don't have any other option so try to include all docs like appraisal letters, confirmation, salary slip and form- 16,along with self explanatory letter it will strengthen your case.
Our good wishes are with you. :D
