Could you share the link where exactly this is mentioned about upfront medical to be done?
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

Document requirements
  • The medical examination confirmation is required up front and must be valid at the time of application.
  • The applicant must include the immigration medical examination (IME) number in their e-APR.
  • The applicant must provide a copy of either the information printout sheet or the Upfront Medical Report form [IMM 1017B (PDF, 453 KB)] (available internally only), whichever the panel physician provides upon completion of the medical examination.
  • Exceptions are made only in rare circumstances that are outside of the client’s control (e.g., cancellation of the appointment by the panel physician at the last minute without time to reschedule).

The link which you provided and the medical upfront that needs to be done is for EE candidates and not Paper based. Are you a EE applicant? I am a paper based applicant. I dont think upfront medical will work until they provide us the intimation.

Hello folks

(1)

Client Service Unit

Immigration Section -London

(2)

Program Assistant

Immigration Section -London

(3)

=======

Applicants are receiving response from London office with three different department.

Anyone can elaborate it in order to understand how department works with different stages and what is the scope of each department from AOR to PPR.

Thank You
