what the hell is going on with IRCC that the majority of single applicants are getting AORs? My app was delivered on June 3rd for two adults. This is unfair discriminatory practices.
If you look at the spreadsheet, about 15 family applicants received AOR and 21 single applicants did. But there are more single applicants than family. So I don't think this has to do with single vs family.
Looking at the trend, IRCC is issuing AORS in multiple sweeps. In the first sweep, they will send AORs to approximately 40% of the applicants. After that, they will move to the next month. In the second sweep, they will send AORs to another 40% approximatively (for a total of 80%). They are currently doing a second sweep for April, and they are at 66% (of course this is a sample of all applicants). May will be next, then June.
Sometime in November they should be coming back to us, because I see they have started issuing July AORs. Or a few people might still receive AORs here and there in the meantime.

If you want to be added to the spreadsheet to track progress, please provide:

Great analysis, melito!
@TempResident the timing of when you get your AOR seems to be random. In other words, you might get lucky and be in the first sweep as described by melito above, or you might be in the second sweep. Or you might just be in-between. There doesn't seem to be a difference between family vs single nor origin city of application. It's random rather than sequential. We will all get AORs sooner or later but it's a matter of chance WHEN each of us will get them.

Check you application status on their site using your UCI number)
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do

They didn't send me AOR because they put incorrect email (they missed one letter in my email I filled in the paper application form)
I checked my status and saw that my application was added to system. After that, I called them to understand what is going on and fixed the contact info for me via phone.
If you hadn’t received your AOR yet, how did you know your UCI number?

Thanks! If I can ask one more dumb question, is that the 8 digit id number on the front as ‘XXXX-XXXX’ or the 9 digit on the back starting with ‘PB....’ looked online and both get referenced depending on who’s asking
8 digits number on the front.

Wow.. great analysis! thanks for taking the time and explaining this to me @melito . I may have lost my patience with IRCC coupled with the crazy world we live in right now.

I personally haven't noticed that sweep pattern but makes total sense to me now. I gather from this analysis that perhaps we should received AOR sometime in December then?

My info as follow:

Location (city): Calgary
App type (single or # of people): Couple, no kids.
Physical presence days: 1187 days
App sent date: May 26, 2020
App delivered date: June 3, 2020

Still no AOR.
